The face is a mid blue with a soft, mottled denim look, flecked with paler threads much like a well-worn chambray, and it's stitched through in a neat diamond grid. The diamonds measure roughly 4cm across. Turn it over and you'll find a smooth, darker navy reverse with the same quilting showing through. At 250gsm it has a comfortable body and a soft, substantial handle. It doesn't drape in the way a dress cotton would, but it moulds nicely around the shoulders and holds its shape.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe 50% cotton, 50% polyester blend keeps the denim face looking natural while helping it shrug off creases. The quilting is already done, so there are no hours spent channel stitching before you can start cutting. It's 145cm wide with no stretch, and the reverse is tidy enough to leave seams bound rather than fully lined. It machine washes at 30°.
