Como Classico - Denim - Alessio is a classic indigo denim, 420gsm (about 12oz) and extra wide at 162cm. That means more fabric on the roll, less waste, and plenty of room for bigger makes.

It’s 100% cotton, so you know what you’re getting — strong, breathable, and it’ll age the way proper denim should. At this weight, Alessio is spot on for jeans, jackets, pinafores, and skirts that require a bit of structure. It’s not as stiff as a 14oz beast, but it’s got enough heft to hold shape and last the distance.

This one comes from Italian deadstock, but it carries the same spirit as the cotton mills that used to run flat-out in Brierfield, just down the road from us, back in the 1960s. Lancashire built its reputation on cloth like this: solid and dependable. Alessio keeps that story alive, only now, in indigo.
