Description

The Dew Top and Dress is an easy-to-make cowl neck style that delivers on both comfort and impact. The dress version includes a gently shaped hem, practical flat-front pockets for generous storage without bulk, and a relaxed fit that's loose but not oversized. The top features a soft high-low hem and a clean, A-line silhouette. With its quick construction and flattering shape, this is a pattern you’ll find yourself reaching for time and again.

Recommended Fabric

The Dew pattern is intended for knit fabrics and requires materials with at least 25% stretch across the width. It works beautifully in jerseys, rib knits, ponte, scuba, and similar fabrics. For the dress version, choosing a knit with a little structure will help maintain the shape of the hem.

Fabric Requirements

Additional fabric may be required if you are working with materials that have a heavy nap, a directional print, stripes, or a noticeable pattern repeat.

Dress: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.7 - 3.5 yd (2.5 - 3.2 m) // 54-60" (137-153 cm) wide fabric: 2 - 3.5 yd (1.8 - 3.2 m).

Top: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 2.25 yd (0.9 - 2.1 m) // 54-60" (137-153 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1.75 yd (0.9 - 1.6 m).
