Sewing tips:

• Use a Microtex/sharp needle (size 60/8 or 70/10) for precision.
• Fine silk or polyester thread works best.
• Twill is stable, but use sharp shears and handle gently to avoid snags.
• Ideal finishes: French seams or bias-bound edges.

Best linings:

• For lightweight comfort: silk habotai or cotton lawn.
• For added drape: cupro/bemberg.
• For luxury bedding: line with another fine silk.
