Fabric Sale

Our fabric sale is where quality cloth goes when we're clearing space, not seconds or offcuts, just good fabric at a lower price. You'll find dressmaking and craft fabrics reduced by anything from 10% to 50%, including ex-designer and deadstock pieces you won't see anywhere else. Sold by the metre, with remnants and bundles too. Stock changes often and lengths are limited, so it's worth a look whenever you're planning a project.

The sale brings together fabric from right across the range, cottons and linens, viscose and jersey, wool and occasion fabrics, all reduced but every bit as good as the full-price cloth. Some pieces are ex-designer or deadstock: genuine designer-mill fabric that came to us in limited quantities, which is why it's here at a lower price rather than because there's anything wrong with it.

Alongside sale fabric by the metre, you'll find remnants, shorter ready-cut pieces ideal for smaller makes, toiles and patchwork, and bundles of complementary fabrics. Because it's all limited stock, the sale is always changing: once a length has gone, it's gone, so it's worth checking back. Order a sample first if you want to be sure of a colour or weight before you buy.

Is sale fabric lower quality?

No. Fabric is reduced because it's end of line, ex-designer or deadstock, or held in limited lengths, not because there's anything wrong with it. It's the same quality cloth as the full-price range, just at a lower price while stocks last.

How is sale fabric sold?

Most is sold by the metre, cut to the length you need. You'll also find remnants, which are shorter ready-cut pieces at a further discount, and bundles of complementary fabrics. Lengths are limited, so a particular fabric may not come back once it sells out.

Can I order a sample before buying?

Yes, on most fabrics. Since sale lengths are limited, ordering a sample first is a good way to check the colour and weight before committing. Use the Order Sample option on the product page.
