A 150cm wide very superior fine polyester ‘silk’ luxury satin crepe dress cloth, in  jet black. It just hangs there. Rather splendid. How to describe this fabric?.....Is it a satin - no. Is it a crepe - no. Is it a bit of both with a sanded finish? Yes. It has the qualities of a satin; the soft touch, wonderful draping qualities. It has a similar texture to a crepe, therefore taking away the light shine a satin has. If you are looking for a wonderful ivory dress fabric that will look a million dollars, then my money is on this. Superb for blouses and dresses. Great for special occasion wear.
