What Are Viscose Blends?

Viscose blends are fabrics that mix viscose with other fibres such as linen, cotton, wool or elastane. The result is a dressmaking fabric that keeps viscose’s soft handle and drape, while improving things like stability, stretch, crease resistance or seasonal weight.

Why Choose a Viscose Blend?

If you love viscose but want a little more structure, viscose blends can be easier to sew and wear. Viscose linen blends add a drier, more textured feel, viscose cotton blends can feel slightly crisper, and viscose elastane blends are great for comfort and recovery.

What Can You Make with Viscose Blends?

Viscose blends are ideal for dresses, skirts, shirts, blouses and wide-leg trousers, as well as co-ords and relaxed tailoring. The extra fibre content often helps garments hold their shape while still looking fluid and flattering.
