Description
Wonderfully light, airy and full of texture, this organic cotton seersucker has that lovely crinkled, puckered surface which gives the fabric volume without weight. Woven from organic cotton with a touch of elastane, it has a soft, slightly springy handle and a beautiful creamy off-white background. Running the length of the cloth is a delicate woven check effect, the texture is quite fabulous, giving this otherwise understated fabric plenty of character.
At just 109gsm, there's enough body to create lovely billowing sleeves, gathers and relaxed shapes without adding bulk. Perfect for oversized shirts, summer blouses, shirt dresses, floaty tops and lightweight layering pieces. The softly crinkled finish is part of its charm, and it's an especially good choice for garments that need a little volume and movement. Beautifully casual, but with a rather expensive-looking finish.

Care & washing
Allow 2-10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
