Description
Big, painterly blooms in tomato red, deep burgundy and lilac sprawl across a warm olive green ground in this 100% viscose, linked by curling lavender stems and leaves edged in fine dotted outlines. Cream polka dots scattered between the flowers keep it from feeling heavy, and touches of black give the petals real definition. At 130gsm it's a light, smooth woven with a soft handle and that fluid, liquid drape viscose does so well.
It's a generous print with plenty going on, part botanical, part paisley, and the olive base makes those reds and purples glow rather than shout. The reverse shows a much paler, washed-out version of the design, so keep track of your right side when cutting. There's no stretch, and like most viscose it can shift about on the table, so a sharp pair of shears and a few extra pins will help.
