GBSB Ep 1 Inspiration : Summer Fabrics & Patterns
Summer shorts, transformed bags and made-to-measure outfits. Find fabrics, patterns and sewing tips inspired by Episode 1 of The Great British Sewing Bee.
Bold, expressive and full of movement, this abstract double gauze features sweeping painterly brushstrokes in rich cobalt blue, charcoal, burnt orange and soft sky blue scattered across a fresh white background. The layered, watercolour-inspired design gives the fabric an artistic feel while remaining surprisingly versatile for everyday wear.
Woven from 100% cotton, this beautifully soft double gauze has the signature airy structure that makes it so comfortable to wear. At approximately 200gsm, it has enough substance to skim the body while remaining breathable with a gentle, fluid drape. Perfect for relaxed dresses, blouses, shirts, children's clothing, lightweight trousers and stylish summer coordinates. As a limited deadstock fabric, once it's gone, it won't be repeated.
