Italian Challis - Chianti

This is colour turned all the way up. An Italian ex-designer viscose challis covered in a lively, almost painted floral, mixing hot pink, raspberry, scarlet and orange with flashes of turquoise, cobalt, leafy green and warm yellow. There is so much going on in the print, yet the colours work brilliantly together. It has that slightly artistic, less-than-perfect floral style that stops it feeling too neat or traditional.

The cloth itself is wonderfully soft and fluid, with the easy movement you want from a good viscose challis. At approximately 133gsm, it is light enough for summer but not insubstantial, and the drape will really show off all that colour. A fabulous choice for swishy dresses, gathered skirts, wide trousers, blouses, shirts and jumpsuits. Italian deadstock, ex-designer and definitely not one for shrinking violets.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.
