Description
Delicate, romantic and full of country-house charm, this original Designers Guild printed cotton furnishing fabric features beautiful pink and apricot pansies arranged in graceful vertical stripes. The flowers sit amongst fine trailing foliage, with soft watercolour-style pink pinstripes running through the pale background. Part of the Designers Guild Country collection, it has that lovely balance of traditional floral design and understated elegance. Made from 100% cotton, the cloth has a substantial, reassuring handle at 220gsm, with enough structure to hold its shape beautifully.
Originally produced for the luxury interiors market, this is a rather special find for anyone who appreciates beautiful furnishing fabrics. At 137cm wide, it would make gorgeous curtains, Roman blinds, cushions, loose covers, window seats and decorative home accessories. The vertical floral arrangement is particularly effective for curtains and blinds, where the pattern can really be appreciated. Acquired as part of a limited Designers Guild deadstock clearance, once it's gone, we may not be able to get any more.

Allow 2-10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
