Italian Voile - Pisces Ivory

This Italian ex-designer voile has a softer, sun-bleached feel. A wonderfully quirky shoal of painterly fish swims across a warm natural ivory cream ground, with the fish picked out in washed navy, teal, blue grey and muted sea green. Their irregular shapes and softly mottled colouring give the print an artistic quality, more Mediterranean sketchbook than novelty seaside print.

Beautifully fine and airy at approximately 71gsm, the voile has a soft handle and an easy, floaty drape that is made for warm weather sewing. At 153cm wide, there is plenty of scope for breezy oversized shirts, loose dresses, blouses, kaftans, beach cover ups and lightweight scarves. The pale natural ground also makes this colourway particularly fresh for summer, although its fine construction means some garments may benefit from a lining.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
