Description
Beautifully refined with a soft, slightly brushed surface, this wool and Lycra blend suiting fabric is a lovely example of understated tailoring cloth. The charcoal grey marl colouring has subtle tonal variations that give the fabric depth and character, while an exceptionally fine twill weave creates a neat, almost smooth appearance. At 200gsm, it has a light to medium weight with a beautifully soft handle, a gentle drape and just enough structure for smart, well-finished garments.
Made from almost entirely wool with a touch of Lycra, this cloth combines the natural qualities of wool with a welcome little give across the width and mechanical stretch along the length. Perfect for tailored trousers, blazers, waistcoats, pencil skirts and beautifully cut suits, it offers comfort without compromising on appearance. The lightly brushed finish softens the overall look, making it equally suited to classic workwear and more relaxed tailoring. Properly smart cloth, without being the least bit stiff about it.

Care & washing
Allow 2-10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
