Fly Away Silk - Hearts

An exquisite Italian pure silk crepe, scattered with hundreds of tiny black hearts across a soft ivory ground. The hearts are deliberately irregular, almost hand-drawn in appearance, and from a little distance they become more of a delicate monochrome texture than an obvious novelty print. Woven from 100% silk, the cloth is exceptionally fine and light, with the softly textured surface, fluid drape and beautiful movement you expect from a really accomplished silk crepe. There is something wonderfully effortless about it – playful up close, remarkably chic from afar.

At approximately 85gsm, this is a true luxury dressmaking fabric and deserves to be allowed to move. Think an elegant bias-cut dress, softly gathered blouse, pussy-bow shirt, flowing skirt, wide-leg evening trousers or a beautifully simple slip dress. Black piping or buttons would look superb against the ivory, while keeping everything tonal would let the silk itself do the talking. Woven in Italy for a fashion house rather famous for its impeccably grown-up Italian elegance, this is an exceptionally fine cloth with the quality to match its rather elevated origins. Tiny hearts it may have, but there is nothing twee about it.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.
