Clarkson's Check

A beautifully soft cotton shirting fabric with a classic check design in deep forest green and navy, brought to life by a fine beige overcheck running throughout. The combination of rich, dark tones and warm neutral detailing gives this cloth a wonderfully traditional feel, reminiscent of heritage country shirts and timeless casual tailoring. The check is understated yet full of character, with the beige lines adding just enough contrast to define the pattern without making it too bold. 

At 150cm wide, there is plenty of fabric to work with for classic button-down shirts, relaxed blouses, shirt dresses, pyjama sets and lightweight casual tops. The green and navy colouring would look particularly good paired with denim, corduroy, chinos or wool trousers, making it an easy addition to both men's and women's wardrobes. With no stretch in either direction, this woven cotton is well suited to traditional shirtmaking techniques, including collars, cuffs, button plackets and neatly finished seams.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

Returns

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note that fabrics are cut to order, so a restocking fee may apply. Some items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described.
