Soft tailoring is exactly where this fabric comes into its own. Woven in a classic herringbone pattern, the alternating charcoal, mid-grey and pale grey yarns create a beautifully understated surface with far more depth than a flat grey suiting. Made from a polyester and viscose blend with elastane, it has a soft, smooth handle and a lovely supple drape, while the subtle two-way stretch adds that bit of comfort you really notice in a finished garment.

At approximately 297gsm, it has enough substance for proper tailoring without feeling stiff or overly formal. Think wide-leg trousers, relaxed blazers, waistcoats, skirts, pinafore dresses and beautifully cut suits. The herringbone is timeless, but the softness and gentle stretch make it much easier to wear than traditional tailoring cloth. Particularly good for those trousers you intend to look smart in but would also quite like to sit down in.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note that fabrics are cut to order, so a restocking fee may apply. Some items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described.
