Gamekeeper 8oz Wax Cotton - Red

Bright, bold and very difficult to ignore, this 8oz waxed cotton is a brilliant change from the traditional olives, browns and navies we usually see in wax cloth. The colour is a proper vivid pillar-box red, beautifully saturated and clean, with a smooth surface and a much drier handle than heavily waxed finishes. Made from 100% cotton, it has the practical water-resistant qualities of waxed cloth without feeling overly greasy or sticky to work with.

At 8oz, it has enough body for outerwear while remaining flexible enough for comfortable everyday pieces. That standout red would make a fabulous wax jacket, field coat, gilet, utility jacket, dog coat, apron or bag, particularly if you fancy something rather less predictable than country green. At 150cm wide, there is plenty to play with too. Waxed cotton doesn't often arrive looking this cheerful, and we rather like it for that.

⚠️Due to the nature of this fabric we are unable to provide refunds on any returned wax cotton. Therefore we recommend you purchase either a sample where possible or half a metre quantities to ensure you are completely happy with your fabric.

The roll price is £30 for postage. However, if you’re happy for it to be folded please proceed as normal. By folding it will come with crease marks on the folds.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
