Description
This pale powder blue cotton jersey has a gentle, slightly cool tone that sits nicely against most skin tones. Running down the length are narrow columns of tiny eyelet diamonds, separated by fine ribbed lines, so the cloth reads as plain from across the room and pretty up close. At 190gsm it has a reassuring mid-weight body, a smooth, soft handle and a fluid drape that falls into easy folds.
The knit and the 95% cotton, 5% spandex blend give it some natural give, so it moves comfortably with you. The pointelle (that delicate, knitted-in openwork) lets air through, which makes it lovely on warm days, though the little holes mean very pale underlayers are the wise choice. The vertical rows of eyelets also give you a handy guide for cutting straight.
